Safety & Environment
Toward a Sustainable Future
Global RRC Chimneys Constructions always incorporates elements of economic efficiency, environmental performance
and social responsibility – and contributes to the greatest extent when architectural
quality, technical innovation and transferability are included.
GRCCC always consider the environmental aspects such as the design and management of construction; materials performance; construction technology and processes; energy and resource efficiency in building, operation and maintenance; robust products and technologies; long-term monitoring; adherence to ethical standards; socially-viable environments; stakeholder participation; occupational health and safety and working conditions; innovative financing models; improvement to existing contextual conditions; interdependencies of landscape, infrastructure, urban fabric and architecture.
Environment, Health, and Safety Policy
Global RRC Chimneys Constructions meets or exceed all applicable environmental,
health and safety requirements. We will evaluate our EHS performance by monitoring
ongoing performance results and through periodic management reviews. GRCCC
support and promote sound scientific principles that enhance environmental quality,
health and safety measures. GRCCC always design, manage and operate to maximize
safety, promote energy efficiency, and protect the environment. Advocate the adoption
of prudent environmental, health and safety principles and practices by our employess,
contractors, vendors, and suppliers.
Environmental Strategy
GRCCC adhere to the highest environmental standards at all stages of construction,
from planning and building processes to long-term impact on the fabric of that community.
The project has to provide an advanced response in terms of Environmental Standards.
- Adherence to environmental standards in all phases of the project's life cycle.
- Contributions to the formation of socially viable environments and the values of communities.
- Quality of working conditions on site and during operation (compensation, safety, basic needs).
- Political transparency and correctness.
Water Consumption & Industrial Process Waste
Effective building design, construction and management can deliver major savings
in water use and the associated costs of energy, water supply and waste water treatment.
This can be achieved without compromising the performance. A proactive approach
to water efficiency needs to exert influence over: GRCCC follows the design
specifications applied to new construction (providing the potential); and the way
in which a building is used, managed and maintained. A good option is to prepare
a Water Efficiency Strategy which sets out a proposed approach to quantifying the
performance that will be achieved relative to industry benchmarks.
GRCCC always adapt principles of water efficiency and follow these principles:
- Monitor and manage our current system, both to ensure equipment is performing to its full potential and to encourage responsible use;
- Reduce use by using water-efficient technologies, fixing leaks, and influencing user behaviour;
- Minimise water heating by using efficient heating, storage and distribution systems; and
- Replace potable water with grey or rain water where practicable.
